The Cape Girardeau County Area Medical Society is a nonprofit professional organization incorporated in 1938 with a mission to serve the people of Cape Girardeau County in matters of medical care, prevention and cure of disease and improving public health.
The CGCAMS is the advocate of its physician members. Some of the benefits of membership:
- Quarterly membership meetings providing one hour of Continuing Medical Education.
- CME tracking of CGCAMS affiliated events.
- An information portal for patients.
- Connection to the Missouri State Medical Association and its programs.
